Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Valletta, Malta. The work will be carried out on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Provide organizational support to the planning and implementing of project activities where ICT is involved;
- Independently manage IT projects over the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure;
- Conduct problem assessment and requirements gathering through business analysis to establish project deliverables to client’s stakeholders;
- Manage the day-to-day operational project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, scope and ensure compliance of all project-related activities with client’s rules, standards and guidelines;
- Understand, assess and manage risks and issues related to the project;
- Design and conduct user acceptance testing;
- Draft presentations, provide statistics and periodical reports on the ongoing projects;
- Act as bridge between ICT service delivery and ICT application lifecycle management in order to obtain a greater efficiency in time to deliver;
- Support and implement quality control key performance indicators;
- Assist in evolutionary maintenance of existing IT Applications by temporarily acting as technical owner.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience in Project management of digital/ICT-related projects;
- Experience in Project coordination and training procedures implementation, using a recognized methodology;
- Experience in Project Management related to Advanced MS Office, MS Project and Atlassian usage;
- Experience in delivering projects involving technologies such as MS SharePoint, Drupal, MS Dynamics, .NET applications;
- Experience in performing tasks management in the Atlassian suite, Azure DevOps or similar software;
- Experience in performing the tasks utilizing client’s project management and enterprise architecture methodology;
- Experience in managing outsourced IT developments, preferably in an international context;
- Project Management related certification (PRINCE2, PM2, PMP);
- Excellent command of the English language.
