Job Description
Role overview
As a Restructuring Senior Administrator, you will support the restructuring team, conducting financial analysis and basic report drafting, to support in advising distressed businesses on their strategic options. You will also play a key role in supporting the management and progression of insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, and bankruptcies. You will work closely with managers and insolvency practitioners, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring statutory compliance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
- Review of financial information from a variety of sources and ability to understand and present key performance indicators
- Understanding business drivers across a variety of industries
- Cash flow modelling and sensitivity/variance analysis
- Report drafting
- Liaise with managers, insolvency practitioners, clients, creditors, employees, asset funders, and other stakeholders where appropriate.
- Attend meetings (including client meetings and site visits)
- Draft routine case correspondence, statutory documents, and clear professional reports.
- Maximise asset realisations in insolvency cases and pursue recoveries proactively and cost-effectively
- Carry out investigations and identify when to seek legal advice
- Ensure cases are fully compliant and reviewed appropriately
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times
- Effectively use IT packages including Microsoft Office and FRP in-house systems
Qualifications
- Previous advisory experience, ideally restructuring or in delivery of business reviews
- Previous insolvency experience and understanding of case progression and legislation is advantageous but not essential
- Higher English and Mathematics ‘B (6)’ grade or above (or equivalent); bachelor’s degree desirable
- Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments
- Diligent with keen attention to detail and a professional approach to work
- Adaptable and flexible approach with a genuine willingness to learn
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and IPS preferable
