We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst - Business Intelligence to join our team and play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable business insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using PowerBI, while working with our Dynamics CRM/ERP system and MySQL databases to deliver comprehensive reporting and analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources including Microsoft Dynamics and MySQL databases
- Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
- Create automated reporting solutions to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Develop KPIs and metrics to monitor business performance across departments
Business Intelligence Development
- Build and maintain data models and relationships within PowerBI
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Optimize existing reports and dashboards for performance and user experience
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all BI deliverables
- Document processes, methodologies, and data sources for knowledge sharing
Database Management & Integration
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation in MySQL
- Integrate data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM/ERP system with other business applications
- Monitor data quality and implement data validation processes
- Support data migration and integration projects as required
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Present findings and insights to senior management and department heads
- Train end-users on PowerBI dashboards and self-service analytics tools
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for BI solutions
- Work closely with IT and business teams to understand evolving data requirements
Technical Skills
- PowerBI: Advanced proficiency in PowerBI Desktop, PowerBI Service, and PowerBI Report Server
- Microsoft Dynamics: Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 or Dynamics CRM/ERP systems
- MySQL: Strong SQL skills with experience in MySQL database management and query optimization
- Data Analysis: Proven experience in statistical analysis, data modelling, and trend identification
- Excel: Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions
