This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats—combining day-to-day financial management with analysis that informs the bigger picture of our business.
What You’ll Do

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Build budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow models that support leadership in planning and fundraising.
- Analyze key financial and operational metrics, turning data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Evaluate new initiatives—products, markets, partnerships—by modeling financial and business scenarios.
- Implement and refine scalable financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Partner with external accountants, tax advisors, and other service providers as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis (startup or SaaS background a plus).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fully remote, fast-moving environment and managing multiple priorities.
Success in This Role Means
- Delivering accurate financial reports and reconciliations on time.
- Providing strategic insights that influence company direction and resource allocation.
- Establishing efficient, scalable processes to keep our finances organized as we grow.
- Acting as a trusted partner to leadership while working independently and resourcefully.
