Sword Services Greece S.A. is seeking to recruit a high caliber, energetic individual to join our newly established Software Development team in Greece as Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot). The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our core business in large International Information Systems. What you will do...

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Spring Boot / Java EE and cloud-native applications;
Build and evolve Microservices Architecture;
Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and Engineers to define and deliver technical solutions;
Estimate development effort and break it down into deliverables;
Write clean, maintainable code and technical documentation;
Create and execute automated unit tests (JUnit);
Deploy and configure applications in cloud (AWS) or on-prem environments, in collaboration with DevOps.

What is your experience...

BSc's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot or Java EE;
Strong software engineering foundations (OOP, design patterns, clean code practices);
Ability to draft clear and structured technical documentation;
Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken.

Experience in the following will be considered as an asset:

Knowledge in Cloud & DevOps: AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Git, Maven, Jenkins);
Knowledge of data storage and processing: JSON, XML, SQL (Oracle, MySQL), NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB), PDF generation.
