Duties & Responsibilities

Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Developer to maintain, upgrade, and enhance websites, C# applications, APIs, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Research, design, and profile systems to identify solutions and improvements.
Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and technical standards.
Maintain, upgrade, and enhance websites, C# applications, web services, and APIs/integrations.
Assist with version control, operational support, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Conduct unit testing, diagnose problems, and implement software fixes.
Provide input to Business Analysts on requirements and specifications.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent IT qualification
Experience:
- 5–8 years’ experience in a Developer role (mandatory)
- Experience in the Financial Services industry (advantageous)
Technical Competencies:
- C# .NET programming
- JavaScript, HTML, ASP, PGP
- SQL Server or other databases (creation, maintenance, strong SQL knowledge)
- Experience with source code repositories
Behavioral Competencies:
- Strategic thinker, analytically minded, and accountable
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Business acumen with leadership potential
- Target-driven, disciplined, and resilient under pressure
